Sweet and Spicy Ostrich Chili

Ground ostrich steak, a perfect spice blend and a touch of sweetness combine for a unique and delicious chili you don't want to miss!

Ingredients

1 large cans of tomatoes diced                      2 cloves garlic, chopped 
1 14 oz. can original stewed tomatoes          3 tbsp brown sugar 
1 cup catsup                                                  1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce 
1/2 cup water                                                 1 1/2 tsp salt 
1 cup celery, chopped                                   1 ½ tsp black pepper
1 yellow onion chopped                                 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
2 Anaheim peppers chopped                        ½ tsp dry mustard
2 Bay leaf                                                       3 tbsp chili powder
1 pound defrosted ground ostrich                 2 cans kidney beans

Preparation

Place ground ostrich in a skillet and sauté until no longer pink. Set aside
In a large pot add 1 tbsp of butter and heat.   Sauté onions, green peppers, and garlic
Add ground ostrich to pot. 
Add remaining ingredients, except beans, to pot and simmer for at least 2 hours.
Add kidney beans and allow to heat thoroughly 
Adjust salt and chili powder to your preference. 
Serve with your choice of toppings.
