Simply Grilled Ostrich Steak

The inside and outside strips are perfect for a quick grilling or sear.  You can't go wrong with a simple preparation of either of these great cuts.

Ingredients
Inside Strip or Outside Strip (defrost first)
Cooking oil
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic

Preparation

Heat and lightly oil grill.  Mix your simple dry seasonings together.

Lightly oil your steak and season.  Once grill is hot, place seasoned cut onto the grill and allow to cook 3-4 minutes

Rotate steak clockwise 90 degrees and cook another 3-4 minutes.

Turn steak over and repeat the cooking process until it has reached your desired doneness (we recommend 125 degrees, but to each their own!), remove from heat and allow to rest covered with some aluminum foil for 5 minutes to slightly raise the internal temperature.

You're in for a treat.  Serve with side dishes of your choice.
